We petition the Obama administration to modify the WE THE PEOPLE website by adding a feature for participants to "Dislike" or otherwise "Down-Vote" petitions similar to the current method used to "Sign" them.
Such a system is already in place on other popular websites like YouTube which has maintained a "Like/Dislike" voting system for years.
While it is the right of all Americans to be able to petition their government, opposition to a particular petition should also be heard. Adding this feature would effectively crowd-source the petition process allowing the best to filter up. It would be especially useful for identifying petitions of a ridiculous nature and those not within the power of the federal government to pursue.
Please add this feature to make this site more effective.
