Campaigns use a lot of money, and the American voter should be able to decide if there should be a tax on campaign finance that re-routes cash to infrastructure that we all share. In primaries when candidates are selected for each major party, voters should have the ability to choose if every dollar donated towards election campaigns goes toward the election, or towards infrastructure development - roads and bridges. The total % of voters that vote 'yes' will act as a tax % on campaign finances, and the money instead of going to signs, repeating advertisements, and robocalls will go to restoring America. Voters knowing that their % of donations will go directly toward infrastructure will donate more, and more will show up for primaries as their vote will matter even in a landslide.
