Mt. Rushmore is a national monument dedicated to Presidents whose legacies transcend the average American's life span. President Barack H. Obama should be added to the monument because he is the first African American President, will serve two terms, and his heritage bespeaks the diversity we embrace as a nation. This seems to be the logical place to create a monument for his accomplishments, as there are no more spaces on the Mall in Washington.
