The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, was written by the insurance industry that US citizens hoped it would protect them from. This coverage will not protect them from either high premiums or high deductibles. In the event of catastrophic illness, there is little to ensure patents will not face denied benefits because of the loopholes contained within this program. The only way citizens are to be protected from the mandated private health plans is to provide a comprehensive public health care plan that is free of any legal loopholes designed to deny legitimate coverage. We petition the President to fulfill his promise of providing affordable comprehensive health care to every American citizen by providing a publicly implemented health care plan.
