The act of rape doesn't just hurt someone at the time. It likely will lead to problems that affect them the rest of their life. It will likely lead to problems that with affect those that care about them as well.
I know it's always possible that someone will lie but when physical evidence proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that someone has committed rape, the option for death should be there. If the victim is underage it should be automatically imposed if once again the evidence proves beyond a shadow of a doubt.
