Religion is a major issue in American life. Although the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and separation of church and state, there are still legislative/moral issues that involve/relate to religion including but not limited to: abortion, stem cell research, rights of religious, and the changing demographics of America.
petitions.whitehouse.gov should include a religion for people to check when they are asked what issues their petition involves. This will help increase dialogue between the people and the White House on religion.
