add removal of excess skin to Medicaid/care covered procedures for eligible patients who have had a successful bariatric

It's no secret that Americans by and large are some of, if not the most obese people in the world. With the recent health insurance reform more people will be eligible for various bariatric procedures due to obesity and comorbidities and several will undergo the procedures. Several others may seek out professional dieticians. If successful via bariatric surgery or other weight loss there will usually be a large amount of excess skin left over. Not only is this skin uncomfortable it can lead to infections and psychological issues relating to body issues. If the bariatric surgery and/or dieticians can be covered by insurance, Medicaid and Medicare shouldn't the removal of excess skin left from success of these actions be covered as well?
