Our senate is composed entirely of lawyers, economist, and businessmen/women. All elected officials no matter what the affiliation use the bipartisan system to that of a sport where it's "Us" vs. "Them" in a battle for who will retain the most power. All the while it is the people who suffer the consequences of having so-called experts make decisions on what is best for the country. During the Bush administration Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates announces the Army would extend to 15 month deployments. Zero military experience, B.A. and M.A. in history, Ph.D. in Russian and Soviet history. This is just one example. The only service to this country worth mentioning is military service and that has to come before civil service.
FiGHT for this country shouldn't be a figure of speech!
