The G.I. Bill has a max of $1000 stipend for full time students. This is fine for students taking basic requisite courses for what ever major they decide to pursue, but it's a slap in the face to students majoring in specific courses. There's no reason veterans should be coming out of pocket for requisite material. The G.I. Bill stipend should be altered to meet school and program specific needs, period.
