Add Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity to the list of federally protected classes.

This petition is being created because discrimination cannot be tolerated. Unfortunately, even after the Supreme Court's landmark decision to legalize marriage for gays and lesbians, there are many ways that the LGBT community can be victimized and severely harmed by discrimination that is currently permitted under various laws (or lack thereof) around our country. Please help us continue toward a more perfect Union by amending the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.
