he Slide Fire is an aftermarket add-on that allows a user to "bump-fire" a semi-auto rifle with nearly the same fire rate as an automatic. However, unlike other bump stocks, this one utilizes an extension that allows the user to maintain complete control and accuracy while bump firing. While bump-firing has traditionally been accurately seen as a fun waste of ammo on the range, this device (and those destined to imitate it) make this type of shooting a fully lethal means of offensively killing lots of people accurately, quickly, and without the fatigue associated with traditional bump firing. This device and those like it MUST be added to the National Firearms Act, so that it may be regulated in the same way as silencers.
