Add a small surcharge to each stock sold to be given to Research and Development department of the stock's company.

Created by J.U. on July 16, 2012

My first introduction to the Stock Market was the 401K. I was shock to learn that all the money I invested in stocks would go to another investor and none to the company I was investing in. After the initial sale, the company receives no benefit from the stock. Only the responsibility to increase the stock price.

The Stock Market is so volatile. The focus is on the short term quick sale. The saving of Millions can be lost in a day. How can we refocus it on long term growth? My idea is to take a small percentage of each stock sale and return it to the stock's company. This will make each sale a little less profitable. Improve the health of the company and encourage long term investment.
