Add a special tax on assault rifles to pay for firearm safety clinics in areas with high gun violence and/or schools.

I propose that, to prevent accidental deaths and more assault rifle purchase, The United States of America should add an additional tax on assault rifles to pay for firearm safety clinics in areas with high gun violence, and in schools to prevent accidental gun shootings. This will also prevent some purchases of assault rifles. The tax should be mandatory for all gun vendors, and anyone who sells an assault rifle but does not collect the tax should be persecuted.
