Add a tariff for clothing manufactured in sweatshops and factories that do not comply with fair trade standards.

Created by T.R. on May 28, 2013

In Bangladesh men and women do not have enough money to support their families, because of this they are unable to pay a dowry for their daughters so they are forced to marry them off young. Being married young is dangerous for the girl because their husbands often become abusive and the young pregnancies caused by the marriage are often dangerous for both the mother and child. By signing this petition you will help to create a tariff on clothing made in sweatshops, this will encourage people to buy from fair trade companies, creating more jobs that have better working conditions and better pay for people in Bangladesh, this way they can better support their families and their daughters will have a better quality of life.
