Add a tax for all firearm and ammunition sales to fund victims of gun related violence, and gun violence prevention.

Gun violence and gun related crimes take countless lives and resources. More could be done to prevent these crimes and help the victims if more money was available. From increased security in schools and public places to better mental health resources and better background checks, much can be done to reduce this horrible crimes. However, Congress will not allow the necessary funding in the current fiscal situation. The solution is for gun owners to pay the price much in the same way cigarette smokers pay for anti smoking advertisements. Leaving a large tax on all firearm and ammunition sales is the most logical way to pay for these services
