ADD VISION CARE AND HEARING CARE TO ALL OF THE FEDERAL HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS.

Created by C.S. on January 16, 2013

At present, Vision care beyond annual checkups, and Hearing care beyond annual checkups are NOT covered by any Federal healthcare program. For that reason, many people spend a large chunk of their out-of-pocket money for vision care – including Glasses, and hearing care – especially Hearing Aids, because there are those in official places that view both types of care as Cosmetic, and not absolutely necessary for everyday life. Glasses can cost as much as $1,000, while hearing Aids can cost $5,000 for each ear. In both cases, this becomes a recurring expense for lots of valid reasons, and they become less affordable as people grow older.
