Addendum to the law in title 5, USC, S 2108 (5 USC 2108), to include Veterans' Preference for reservist and former reservist with honorable and general discharge to gain federal employment in a non-discriminate process.
At this time, the before mentioned law does not include reservist and former reservist unless other criterias are met. This petition is to recognize reservist and former reservist that they also swore in and don the military uniform and should not be treated as second class military personnel when applying for federal employment in the same class as the general public.
In closing, it would be in the publics best interest and the federal agencies to include reservist and former reservist in the Veterans' Preference pool to gain meaningful federal employment.
