Adding Middle Eastern to the races category

Created by G.A. on March 16, 2014

Usually when someone applies for a job or a student takes a state test in school they're asked for their race. The options are usually White, Black, African American... etc and then there is other. What does that other stand for? It is not a race nor is it a skin color. Middle Eastern people, whether they're from Egypt or Pakistan they choose other. Other to Middle Eastern people means that they're not that important. If Middle Eastern is an option the Middle Easterns will choose that option with dignity. If your applying for a job or taking a state test the person looking at your profile will know who you really are. Middle Eastern should be a part of a race, there are a lot of Middle Easterns out there with this dream, the dream to be included in the race section not other. Thank you.
