Address and change the Army Regulation 670-1, on tattoos and becoming a commissioned officer.

Created by J.M. on May 14, 2014

I am starting a petition to address the changes of Army Regulation 670-1 in reference to tattoos.I feel the current changes that went into effect 01 April 2014, have in many ways effected the careers of many soldiers. This current policy has slowly started to cause a riff in the love that a lot of us soldiers that are tattooed have for the US Army as a whole. We feel that the current Regulation, takes away our civil right to freedom of speech and stifles are chance at advancing our careers. Furthermore, I feel that the Regulation should be changed to allow Soldiers who are " Grand fathered" in to be able to still serve as commissioned officers, as long as no tattoos can be seen while in the dress uniform.
