Recently, the Archdiocese in Seattle, WA, released the names of priests/offenders who have participated in the child abuse/sexual abuse/rape of children in their parish. They claim that their motivation for releasing the names is so the children can have CLOSURE. However, all of those children will never have closure if the offenders go unpunished. There should be a nationwide investigation into the Catholic church and, by law, the offenders should be punished. Separation of church and state does not mean that the Catholic church can ignore our human rights.
