Apple's decision to remove Bitcoin Clients from its App Store is limiting competition in the electronic payment sector and is restraining trade, which is a direct violation of the Sherman Act.

The Sherman Act outlaws "every contract, combination, or conspiracy in restraint of trade," and any "monopolization, attempted monopolization, or conspiracy or combination to monopolize."
