I am asking for student loan debt of physical therapists be forgiven after 10 years of regular on time payments. Student loans are for many people the only way to gain higher education and are required for many professions. Physical therapists are experts in movement analysis and correction. They work in all healthcare settings to improve functional movement and provide rehabilitation services. Physical therapists work with all age ranges of patients. All physical therapist are required to have a Masters degree and with 92% of the 210 accredited physical therapy schools offering clinical Doctorate degrees, many have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. The cost of a DPT degree is approaching $90,000 and with the cost of an undergraduate degree can easily grow to over $100,000 and more.
