Address the categorization of autism disorders so that individuals are better evaluated based on the symptoms exhibited

Created by J.B. on December 15, 2012

Autism is real. What is unreal is the catch-all categorization of the symptoms into such a broad & diverse group. Never in human history has medical professionals not known exactly what causes it & then have two people with completely different symptoms placed in the autistic category. As all in the medical field know, DSM guidelines dictate who gets coverage & as such, if all the individuals with such a myriad of symptoms were told they had an unknown disease/condition,they would not get coverage. The issue at hand is that this type of categorization stunts research to alleviate or cure at least on set of known symptoms & it prevents proper categorization of individuals that may or may not be dangerous & as such keep them away from guns & children. Adam Lanza is an example of such danger.
