The United States has always looked out for human rights not only for those in the United States but worldwide. At this time in Venezuela there is civil unrest with unarmed citizen being killed because they are peacefully protesting for a government that is truly democratic and simple things such as grocery stores with food and toilet paper. Much of the news of what is happening is being blocked by the government through TV and now through internet. Americans have stood up for the basic human rights in the Middle East. We now need to stand up for people much closer to home. We realize politics is complicated but the sanctity of human life is not. Help our neighbors in Venezuela.
