As shown by the vast majority of scientists agreeing and peer reviewed legitimate scientific climate studies, climate change is not only real, but it is caused by humans. Ignoring the science and truth involved here for political or economic reasons is no longer viable or acceptable, especially after recent extreme weather events like Hurricane Sandy only further proving these studies correct, and hints that things will continue to get worse.
Stopping the human effects on climate change can no longer afford to wait till 2016 or 2020 or whenever is politically convenient to push down the road. Taking a blow now, even to our delicate economy, is preferable to current predictions of climate change, and more disasters like Sandy, especially since green conversion could create many jobs.
