Address climate change by setting up a program to make all of our new and existing housing to be Super Energy Efficient.

Created by T.P. on January 11, 2013

To dramatically slow climate change, a program could be developed to make all of our new and existing homes to be Super Energy Efficient (SEE for short). Existing proven methods can reduce heating and cooling energy needs by 75% or more.

Financing such a program could be paid for with energy savings. In most cases, SEE homes & buildings can immediately begin to more than pay for any financing costs.

This program would also stimulate our local & national economies by creating millions of middleclass jobs connected with construction.

It would also provide partakers with a hedge against future energy cost rises, increased savings, and more comfortable living & working conditions. All of us would benefit from a vibrant long-term U.S. economy and less dependence on foreign energy sources.
