address a constitutional amendment eliminating corporations from being legally recognized as people.

Created by C.G. on January 18, 2013

Legal recognition of corporations was originally intended for tax purposes. It has been construed by the courts to mean that corporations receive constitutional representation in government. This has led to corporations attempting to usurp the power of government through unlimited financial means. A constitutional amendment eliminating corporations as a legal individual entity would return the power of election to the people as originally intended in the Constitution and leave no legal standing for unlimited campaign contributions.
