Address the countless negative impacts of America's "war on drugs," rather than side stepping the issue.

Created by J.H. on November 01, 2011

Thousands of people have been brutally murdered in the US and mexico due to our failing drug war.

The former president of Mexico has called for legalization.

Billions have been spent, and what have we gained?

Youth have incredibly easy access to marijuana, and find it more difficult to access alcohol and cigarettes.

Two LEGAL substances (alcohol and cigarettes) have caused millions of deaths.

Adults are unable to use marijuana as medication. Meanwhile, they are, instead, given dangerous (and often, highly addictive) prescription drugs to alleviate their ailments.

And the federal government continues to attack states that have decriminalized medical use (and break state law in the process).

Can we have an HONEST conversation about these problems?
