The rights of a citizen cannot be abridged because of the rights of a fetus. Health care, individual rights, and reproductive rights must be guided by the Constitution. The question of the beginning of life is philosophical and religious, rather than Constitutional.
We urge the President and members of the Executive branch to formulate an opinion statement supporting a limit on application of all laws regarding persons to humans who have been born alive.
