All recent petitions regarding gun control have been "responded to" with a universally one-sided response. This serves to mute the voices of those who have signed the petitions that are not in favor of POTUS's view on the matter which is nothing less than disenfranchisement.
"We the People" are a diverse group and, if the Executive branch of our government intends to serve all of us, which we are sure it does, we petition that the responses posted on this public forum let all of our voices be heard by responding to each of our petitions in an individualized and meaningful way.
Debate cannot occur in the absence of a willingness to hear both sides.
