In regards to the Ebola outbreak, I petition the Obama Administration to place restrictions on specific individuals coming from West Africa into the United States. According to the Center for Disease Control, since March of this year, there have been almost 5000 cases of Ebola with almost 3000 of them resulting in death. Therefore, I believe that if we do not further restrict persons arriving from this area, the Ebola virus will continue to spread. We should isolate people who wish to travel before they are on their flights for 21 days to see if they show symptoms. If after their period of isolation, they show no symptoms, then they should be allowed access to the country. If we were to do this, it would most likely stop the source of the disease from spreading it any further.
