The news media cannot be trusted. These people operate under the guise of reporting, when in fact they operate under a silent agenda to swing the opinion of the population whichever way they see fit.
With this petition, I ask that the FCC dismantle and rebuild the concept of reporting and enforce ethical guidelines. Such guidelines would require:
1. Factual representation with punitive actions in cases of violation
2. Limiting over reporting that leads to opinionated whitewashing and fear mongering
3. Clear separation between opinion-related talk shows and factual situation reporting networks.
