There is no reason for a civilan to own a semi-automatic or assault rifle. These are weapons of mass destruction, and should not be covered under the second amendment. We need to open a dialogue about this issue, and perhaps one day, we will be free from the fear that any person with harmful intentions can obtain one of these firearms by simply ordering them online.
