This petition encourages President Obama to go on national TV and encourage a solution to the current European refugee crisis. There are over 300,000 churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship in the United States. Every one of these tax exempt organizations should voluntarily take in one refugee family and commit to house, feed and help them assimilate into our great country. The idea would be to create new, valuable and productive citizens out of the tragedy that exists today. Iceland has about the same number of citizens as the US has houses of worship and they are already trying to petition their government to take in thousands of people fleeing Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. What does your holy book tell you to do in this situation?
