address the fact that Iran attempted to shoot down a US drone 11/1/2012 & why it was not discussed prior to the election

On 11/01/2012, an Iranian military plane fired at least 2 times on an American drone performing "routine surveillance" over the Persian Gulf. The drone was unarmed. Iranian officials stated that the drone was in Iranian airspace, however the Pentagon has stated that the drone was in fact, not in Iranian airspace but in international airspace. This was not addressed prior to the election and we want to know why. It still has yet to be formally addressed. We want answers, and we want to know if and what action is going to be taken.
