To address FBI director James Comey's comments concerning his desire to lobby Congress to amend the CALEA Act.

Created by M.G. on October 20, 2014

FBI Director James Comey stated that Apple and Google's attempt to encrypt phones should be made illegal. He states that he will lobby Congress to amend the CALEA Act (a 20 year old law) to make it illegal for these companies to do this and that the FBI wants "front door" access to our cell phones. Where does the President stand on this?
