Wealth inequality has been a significant problem everywhere but very evidently in America over the past 30 years. We need to recognize this so that an open and constructive dialogue can be made to address the problem and secure a fruitful future for all social classes in this country not just the rich and super rich.
The following video (which I did not make, but wish I had) illustrates just how stark a situation the actual majority in this country face in terms of greatly reduced wages.

And while the presidents recent promise of a "living wage" at about $9/hr is a step forward, for most, it represents an infinitesimally small improvement in their day to day lives.
This deserves our immediate and decisive attention.
