Address the growing economic inequality in the US and take action to ensure wages increase with productivity.

Created by N.D. on December 16, 2012

Workers in the US are twice as productive as they were in 1980 but real wages have stayed the same while corporate profits and the wealth of the top .1% have grown exponentially. Economic inequality effects Democrats and Republicans alike but there is no longer a party that represents the ECONOMIC interests of the middle class. There is now more upward mobility in the UK than there is here. That's not what America was supposed to be. I'm asking you, Mr. President, to use the bully pulpit to, at the very least, let people know that this is an issue.
