Address Gulf War I Veterans issues. We need research, healthcare, and a better VA system. over 200,000 are sick!

Created by T.S. on October 28, 2011

There are currently over 200,000 Veterans of Gulf War I (Desert Storm) on VA disability.
We need the support of the White House to see that we have continued research, treatment, and improved VA claims process.
HR 248 needs to be passed so that these Veterans can find out what they have been exposed to. Research funding has declined recently, and we need continued efforts to identify the toxins we have ingested.
Many of us have been told that our Service records, Military health records, and chemical logs are missing, and presumed to have been destroyed.
The VA claims process HAS NOT improved. I have 1 claim that has been in process for 5 months, and an appeal that is nearly 3 years old. Both of these claims involve my missing records. Please take care of YOUR Veterans!
