On Thursday, February 11, 2016, Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani alleged that GOP senators reached out to them and asked or demanded that they hold off on release of our citizens until after the elections.
If this is indeed true, as their allegation of the letter signed by GOP senators last year turned out to be, as CItizens we demand that all who participated, regardless of party, are charged with treason bu the US Attorney on the grounds that they betrayed their country for political gain and put American lives on the line in the process.
