To address the issue of logging companies simply clear cutting forests

In light of the Obama Administration's goal to combat climate change, we urge the President and Congress to develop a plan to stop logging companies or any other company from simply clear cutting a forest and destroying it's biodiversity. We urge Congress and the President to work together with logging companies to promote more ecofriendly processes of logging such as selective cutting and strip cutting. These allow forests to remain strong and help start a pattern of logging for logging companies. This will help the United States play a part in the environmental movement and give a chance for future Americans to experience what natural beauty that our great country holds.
