Address the issue of term limits in Congress.

Created by C.C. on February 27, 2015

The United States Congress has never had term limits. What we see as a result of this is that politicians make it a life-long career and focus less on doing what the people want, and more on what gets them re-elected. I propose a limit to a maximum of two terms, for a four year total, too encourage our congress-men and women to strive to get as much accomplished as they can before heading back to work as an American citizen/taxpayer.

Congress has one of its lowest approval ratings in history. Yet we still see a majority of them being re-elected. We the people request political reform on the subject of Congressional term limits.
