Parents and family members of mentally disabled children and adults who are at risk to themselves and others are currently limited in the services available to them.
Many of these individuals require greater, longer-term inpatient services and are simply sent home when they "time out" from rehabilitation facilities covered by Medicaid or conventional insurance providers.
