If everyone is telling the truth in the Michael Brown case, then we need to change law enforcement policy around "Shoot to Kill".
I have the privilege of traveling to Hawaii on my honeymoon. While staying in Maui I met two police officers (husband and wife) from the Mid-West who I became friendly with and my wife and I met regularly for drinks in the evenings.
One night I asked them "what do you do if something is charging at you? Do you shoot them in the leg to slow them down?" They responded firmly. "No, we are trained to shoot for the head, and shoot to kill".
I had the privilege of learning this policy while in Maui back in 2006. 8 years before the Michael Brown incident. Americans are learning about this today. If you are as shocked as me that this is the policy sign this!!
