This petition is in response to the increase in shootings in the past few weeks. This is not a Republican or Democrat problem. This is an American problem. We cannot stand by and watch shooting after shooting, shaking our heads and calling it a tragedy and then months later forgetting it. We have reached a tipping point and we need to come together to find a solution. We need to look to our fellow nations for guidance on how to gain control of our spiraling problem. We need to stop being spectators, watching the horror from the sidelines, and become active and make a change that will save lives and address these terrible tragedies.
