The FCC and Justice Department have been asleep at the wheel. Citizens of the US can no longer endure the consolidation of power among few multinational corporations. These monopolistic powers have historically shown themselves to be detrimental to US citizens from a financial standpoint, but media consolidation has also grown filter our rights to free speech and public dissent.
In order to preserve the things that make America great, we need our representatives to actually represent us. This merger violates existing antitrust and consumer rights and needs to be stopped immediately.
