Address the need for Metal Detectors and Security Personnel at school entrances to provide for public safety in schools.

Created by S.M. on December 16, 2012

Even with perfect gun control and licensing regulation, firearms could find themselves in the wrong hands and infiltrate the sanctitiy of school walls. It is imperative that schools become outfitted with metal detectors and the associated security personnel to administer the detection of weapons at the entrances to school grounds. This issue affects high risk schools with histories of violence, but it also has effects on schools that have little to no security concerns. The wide spread use of this device can allow school personnel to identify threats on school grounds, and allow security personnel assist in defusing any situations that arise. This is not an inner city issue, this has become an everywhere issue affecting students from kindergarten all the way though college.
