Slower Traffic Keep Right is the law in most States. It is not only the law, but a guide on how motorists of differing speeds can share the road safely and efficiently. This simple driving behavior will not only improve traffic safety, traffic congestion and road rage to name a few, but will also improve emergency response.
There is a movement within the Fire and EMS services to address this problem in relation to improving emergency response. Every second counts during an emergency. The need for motorists to keep right in their daily driving behavior is never more important than when an emergency vehicle is approaching with lights and sirens on. This program is endorsed by Fire and EMS Chiefs across America.
