to address the needs of our nation's homeless population. To recognize them and their needs as a nation.

Created by C.S. on November 14, 2012

Everyday in this country, a family is experiencing homelessness. Every day in our country? Another family is turned away from a shelter because it is full. Everyday, another family is forced to live out of their cars. Everyday, on a case by case basis, individuals and families are struggling with homelessness and the cycle it keeps them in as they seek out employment and suitable affordable housing. These families? These individuals have faces and stories. They have names. They are everyday citizens that do not "appear" homeless, but live in fear and daily worry. They are not invisible. And, they need our help. Their civil rights and liberties are threatened by unfair ordinances and laws that prohibit them from life and liberty. It's time to change this.
