Due to the nature of our economic condition, we The People, petition for a reduction in pay for all holding office in the: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the federal government to 2/3's of current salary.
This should be done for a period of at least 10 years until: a balanced budget is created and met, spending cuts occur (2013 fiscal budget) across the board, and future spending is curtailed exponentially back to more reasonable levels, auditing of all federal entities, and those in office subject to the same laws as the people of our republic.
Should this be done the need for tax increases on anyone should staved off, and those in office would again accept that they serve the people, not the other way around.
